Soccer is life.

First half: We played on a long turf field, against the team we lost 0-3 in the first game. Not many shots on goal, nothing interesting. Final score: 0-0
Second half: Nothing interesting. A few shots right into my gloves but that it. My team still couldn’t get a ball in an open net. Final score: 0-0
1st overtime: We had five minutes, just a couple shots far from the net. Also the other team got a corner and it was bouncing around in the box but I got my hands on it. My team didn’t get a shot. Final score: 0-0
2nd overtime: Yet again five minutes. One girl was charging up the left side of the field with one of my defenders following close behind. She took a shot to far post, I got my hand on it, redirected it past the far post. Another one of the other teams offenders got control of it and took a shot but right into my gloves. Final score: 0-0
PK shoot out: This is the first PK shoot out I have ever been in, but I was prepared. The other team decided to shoot second, I have only worked with two girls on how to take PKs, Liana and Jordyn. I knew who I wanted to take them, Liana, Jordyn, Serena, Kelsey and Mary. Liana steps up the shoot, she makes it with a shot into the goalie’s left and hand side about eye level. The goalie starts to cry as she is laying on he ground. She hit her back on the post. After about 5 minutes of her crying she stands up and she is fine. I go up, the girl takes the shot and I dove to right hand side. I got my hand on it but I didn’t save it. Mary steps up to shoot and she make the same shot as Liana. My heart was pounding. I go up, I predicted the girl was going to shoot it to my right side. I start to move over to save it but she hits the post. I couldn’t believe it, she missed. The goalie goes up again and Serena put the shot into the goalies lower left side. Again she makes it. My turn, I go up and the girls kicks the same kick as Liana but into the right side. She makes it, then Kelsey goes up to take her shot. She kicks into the goalie’s lower left hand side about 1 foot of the ground, the goalie saved it. I go up again, the girl kicks it right over the cross bar, she falls to the ground crying as I’m celebrating. Jordyn goes up, made the same kick as Kelsey, the goalie saved it again. I go up, the other teams goalie comes up to take the pk. She shot it into my lower left hand side, and makes it. The pressure on me is building. Liana goes up again, the refs didn’t catch the fact that this was her second time going She makes it, the same shot he did before. The refs realize she kicked twice and call or a redo. A dad for the other team on the sideline is like “They should be disqualified!” I said “The refs didn’t make that clear in the beginning of the shoot out, so calm down. We should not get disqualified.” So Mckenzie, a guest player for my team comes up and take a shot into the goalie’s right hand side about eye level. I am unaware that if I save the next pk we win, I got to caught up in pressure I was under. We were in sudden death, since Mckenzie made it, this other girl had to make it to win. I knew she was going to go to the right, I just knew it. Once she kicks it, I shuffle to the left and grab the ball. I screamed, not knowing we won. The ref goes “That’s it, were down.” I screamed all the way to my team, running as fast as I can. We did it. We won. everybody surrounds me and give me a group hug. I started to cry, I was so over whelmed with joy. I still can’t believe it, the last game I will probably ever play with that team, again, we won. We came in before the third game, in last place and come out on top. Wow!
